The forces of Unity have created a special division known as Biologically Ubiquitous Groupings of Hazardous Units Neutralization Team, or BUG HUNT. These brave men and women are sent in to any location discovered to have large clusters alien life that threatens the safety of Unity space and eliminate them. The division consists of many outfits, but none are more fearsome than the Red Snakes.
The Red Snakes often get saddled with the toughest jobs, and life expectancies become a lot shorter when you get transferred in. However, most don't see that as a negative of being a member of the outfit. With great risk, comes great reward and many of the members of the Red Snakes have become living legends, even if their lives were cut tragically short.
The motto of the Red Snakes is Fiat in bonum omnium which translates to "Let it be done for the good of all". A suitably noble sentiment for the work they must do.

Ship: Stalwart Intruder
The Unity Naval Strike Cruiser - Stalwart Intruder - has been assigned to act as the base of operations for the Red Snakes on deployment to Monash VI. From there, they will lead the campaign to neutralize the identified infestation. The ship has been stocked with the regular assortment of equipment and personnel required to engage in a cleansing operation.
Name: Dinesh Cali
Dinesh Cali is a Sergeant in charge of a squad of the Red Snakes. She has served in the Unity Naval forces for several tours of duty. Her last posting before joining the Red Snakes was on the Unity Cruiser
Knoxdale which performed an extended campaign in fringe space. She received a commendation following her last tour for saving the lives of her squad after being ambushed by K'Erin colonists looking to take over the frontier world of Endrosmuth.
Name: Zaahir Mallika
Zaahir Mallika is a data analyst working in the non-combatant branch of Unity. She is typically tasked with evaluating equipment assignments and ensuring logistical capacities are met for the many outfits serving in the Unity forces. This work, however, sometimes requires her to head into the field with her assigned squad to do live-fire data acquisition. She has been recently assigned to the Red Snakes for operational evaluation.
Name: Muslima Timothea
Muslima Timothea is a member of the Unity Infantry ground forces. Primarily serving from low-intensity regions, such as the Mega-cities of core Unity space, he has a very sunny disposition and an almost child-like naivety to the grim horrors that can await in the dark corners of Unity space. Deciding to seek out a more adventurous posting, Muslima signed up with Bug Hunt when a divisional representative was making the recruitment rounds in the core worlds. He eagerly awaits his first mission.
