As the next dawn broke, things were beginning to become more unstable on Petain. Civil unrest was growing after the recent banning of psionics. While news of the halted invasion of converted had put some at ease, this now allowed more people to focus on the psionic issue. For Matt and the crew, they could tell it was getting close to the time they should be leaving Petain. To that end, Matt reached out to their secretive patron and informed them that they would take on their mission. This would likely be their last job for now. Then the crew began to set about their day, preparing for the mission and the possibility to leave quickly incase Petain became more unstable. Matt and Linda took to the training room to brush up on some close quarters techniques, while Jeb and Bishop set about to repair some more gear in the stash.
